I am an Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Studies (Geography) at the University of Wisconsin - Green
Bay. My primary research interest is the Social and Political Geography of Urban Development with a foundation in classic
Location Theory and Economic models. I also pursue interests in cultural, perceptual, and political streams of geography,
while being adept in human-environment interactions, human behavior, and urban planning.
Previous to my appointment at UWBG, I served in faculty positions at Georgia Southern University, the University of Cincinnati
Main Campus, UC Clermont, and Northern Kentucky University. In addition to my academic postions, I am the Vice
President of the Board of Directors of the Village Life Outreach Project and have served as a GIS consultant, mainly for
the Hillside Trust (Cincinnati, OH) in regional development issues.
